Product Description
The 5 Second Rule board game from University Games is a rapid fire question and answer board game. Players have just 5 seconds to answer questions and, under such pressure, may come out with the most hilarious responses.
University Games 5 Second Rule
Game play takes about 25 - 45 minutes making this a nice, quick one to play once or twice over a few drinks, for instance. At least 3 people are required to play and the maximum number of players is 6. The spiral-shaped timer adds an element of suspense, even more so than a traditional egg timer perhaps. Many of the questions are based around listing things, for example, "name 3 breeds of cats" or "name 3 brands of computer". So even though this board game was developed by University Games, there is nothing super academic about it and the questions are centered around general knowledge rather than specific topics or subject areas.
More from University Games
In addition to 5 Second Rule, board games from University Games include Quick, The Boston Travel Memory Game and Don't Rock the Boat. This brand was founded in 1985 and strives to produce games that encourage imagination as well as social interaction. What more could you want from a board game!

The concept doesn't seem so hard - name 3 things in 5 seconds, but when you're put on the spot your mind just goes blank! Then it moves onto the next person quickly until someone can give 3 answers that haven't been used before. People were laughing so much they couldn't even get any words out! I'd definitely recommend this game! Plus there are pass cards in case you get really stuck :)via idealo
