Product Description

A pack of 20 mini party games that are replicas of real-life carnival games, claiming to offer fun for the whole family.

Carnival Games

  • 20 different mini-games
  • All have a similar carnival theme
  • Cooperative or versus gameplay
  • Balanced and fair, unlike the real games at the carnival
  • Available on Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox One

Fun With The Family

The number one thing that should be known about the Carnival Games is that it's focused entirely on being a fun party game for the whole family. It can be played as a singleplayer title too, of course. But it is much better as a multiplayer experience. While it's not a great game in both play styles, it is possible to find some enjoyment in Carnival Games. It's not a realistic game in any way whatsoever, nor is it a story-based one. It only consists of 20 different mini-games like racing pigs, hitting home-runs, or ring tossing. The good thing is that you don't have to start each individual mini-game one by one and can set small or big mini-game tournaments. Big ones can include all the unlocked mini-games to play back to back and compete against other players.

Unlocking The Mini-Games

The biggest downside of the game is its unlock system. At the end of each mini-game, you earn Carnival Tickets and with these, you unlock the remaining mini-games. On the surface, it doesn't sound that bad. But the amount of Carnival Tickets you earn from each match is just too limited to unlock the remaining ones at a satisfying speed. So it just feels like a chore to replay the pre-unlocked game modes over and over to unlock the next one. And not all of these are good mini-games, unfortunately. It feels hit or miss overall. The art style is also quite simple and low-budget.

Carnival Games: Price UK

Carnival Games start at £13 and is a family-friendly party game, but it's definitely not the best one in its class. In fact, it probably isn't even a good one in that category at all, so it's highly recommended for you to look elsewhere for a fun little family-oriented fun. You might be interested in Just Dance 2021, Mario Kart 8 or FIFA 21.
