A Surprise Hit

The backdrop is an expansive, urban environment that has been hit by a ferocious epidemic, whereby characters are motivated by survival, scavenging for supplies and weaponry to defend themselves against the infected. The setting is referred to as open-world which involves a strong emphasis on free-running mechanics, which allow the gamer to dictate their movements without restriction, including leaping off building edges and jumping from rooftops in a first-person perspective.

Set Traps and Stay Alive

The game involves setting zombie traps, saving survivors and leading them to safe zones in a melee style, meaning close-up combat without guns, thus you'll find yourself grappling at times with more than one zombie. There are options for over 100 weapons and an arsenal of over 1,000 weaponry possibilities when new ones are crafted, as players can buy or scavenge newly-crafted weapons. Season pass holders to the game will be able to upgrade content such as missions and weapons, keeping it enthusing for some time. Aside from arms, the set can be used to evade zombies, with electrified fences and spikes capable of killing.
